Most of the rooms, where we plan to build on the PAX basis, have a height greater than the standard 201 or 236 cm. Thanks to the use of QOOD extensions for the PAX system, you can build up to the ceiling! To begin with, you need to know the dimensions of the space in which you want to place your wardrobe - use our guide - "how to measure the space under a PAX wardrobe". The height of the room will be of key importance in order to choose the appropriate extension height. As an example, we will present a few options:
In this variant, at this height, we choose the PAX wardrobe body, 236 cm high. We subtract the height of the PAX wardrobe (280 cm - 236 cm = 44 cm) from the height of the room and this way we obtain the maximum height of the extension. In order to avoid the risk that the extension turns out to be too high, we choose one, that is one size lower than the maximum height of the extension that we have calculated. Based on this variant, we choose a 43 cm high top.
In this variant, we choose the PAX wardrobe body, 236 cm high. We subtract the height of the PAX wardrobe (315 cm - 236 cm = 79 cm) from the height of the room to obtain the maximum height of the extension. In this case, we have obtained a height greater than the available height of the extensions, so we will use two of them to obtain the desired height. Therefore, we choose extensions with a height of 40 cm and 38 cm. To avoid the risk that it turns out to be too large, one of the extensions has been chosen to be smaller than the maximum available height.
In this variant, we choose the PAX wardrobe body, 201 cm high. We subtract the height of the PAX wardrobe (255 cm - 201 cm = 54 cm) from the height of the room to obtain the maximum height of the extension. To avoid the risk that it turns out to be too high, remember to choose the extension at least one size lower than the maximum height. In this case, we choose a 53 cm extension.
