Is the side of your METOD cabinet visible? Use a side masking panel that will be finished in the same color as the fronts. With a few simple steps and the right tools, you can easily install the side panel.
Step 1: Assemble the METOD cabinet according to the IKEA instructions
Step 2: Screw the panel to the side of the cabinet
You will need a screwdriver or automatic screwdriver and screws 25-28 mm long. Longer screws may result in drilling through the side panel, resulting in a visible hole on the outside. Make sure the back edge of the panel is flush with the wall. Use screws in each corner and along the front edge - from 2 to 4 screws depending on the height of your structure.
Step 3: Repeat for other panels
If you have more than one side panel to install, repeat the previous steps for each panel.
