Want to mask the space between the PAX cabinet and the wall? - Apply a filler piece. In our offer filler piece come in the same color as the fronts. If you have decided, for example, on a stripes front model, the filler piece can also have a continuation of this pattern. What is a filler piece? It is an element that fills the gap between the cabinet and the wall. It is an additional element of the cabinet, creating a solid look and keeping it from having unattractive gaps.
Step 1: Get the materials
To install the filler piece, you'll need a drill-driver, screwdriver, 25mm and 30mm long screws, and a ladder.
Our filler pieces consist of two components - the main filler piece, which is in the front's decor/color, and the supporting filler piece, which is the base for the main filler piece. The supporting blends are always plain and are usually also in the color of the front.
Step 2: Combining the filler piece with the supporting filler piece
You can combine the filler piece with the supporting filler piece using screws. Remember to drill from the inside so that you don't damage the outside surface, which will be visible! Use a 25mm long screw to screw the two pieces together. If you give us the exact dimension of the filler piece, we can do this step for you.
Step 3: Filler piece assembly
By screwing the two pieces together, we have created one piece with a larger thickness. Apply the filler piece to the place where it is to be placed. Make sure that the front and the filler piece are on the same surface. Connect the filler piece and the cabinet, by screwing a screw through the side wall of the cabinet. Ask for help from the other person to hold the filler piece (so that the filler piece does not move during assembly).
It is possible to install the filler piece not faced with the front surface, in which case skip step 2.
